For incoming students: A student room in Leuven (and in the entirety of Belgium’s Flanders region) is kalled a kot in Dutch. If you’ll be studying at KU Leuven, have a look at their official accommodation page. Another popular website is Kotwijs. This site contains listings from verified landlord, approved by either university or municipality or even both. The downside of Kotwijs is that many local landlords aren’t always prone to rent for short term -but it’s definitely worth a look.
